The Colorado Building Blocks provide guidance for families, early care and education providers and administrators on what children should know and be able to do as they enter kindergarten. They are intended to be used in conjunction with the Colorado P-12 Academic standards. They are intended to be inclusive of all children -- children who are English language learners, children with special health care needs, children who are at risk, children with disabilities and children who are typically developing.
