Description
The purpose of this document is to assist the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) develop a technical implementation strategy to further define the scope for the CAPTURE initiative of the 2009 State Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) Grant. Our research centered on three primary areas: assessing the overall data exchange model, defining the concept and providing an implementation plan. At the local level, Colorado districts struggle to maintain a comprehensive, accurate, and timely set of data systems that can meet the needs of the state reporting requirements.
