Description
Three Korean War Army surgeons adopt a hilarious, lunatic lifestyle as an antidote to the tragedies of their Mobile Army Surgical Hospital, and in the process infuriate army bureaucrats.
Description
During the Korean War, the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H) is ruled by Lieutenant Colonel Blake. The center of attention is Captain Hawkeye Pierce, a trickster and draftee. Opposed to Pierce is Major Frank Burns, a regular-army type who has gone over the deep end. Burns finds a kindred spirit in Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan, while Hawkeye finds an ally in Captain Trapper John McIntyre, the best chest-surgeon but as undisciplined as Hawkeye. They begin a campaign of mayhem against Burns and Houlihan with the object of driving Burns totally berserk. Through their pranks, Hawkeye and Trapper maintain their own sanity and others retain theirs. Those who would destroy sanity become their targets.
